Zoe Broadcasting Network, Inc. recognizes and respects the people’s right to privacy, and is committed to safeguarding your personal information, sensitive personal information, and privileged information pursuant to the Republic Act No. 10173, otherwise known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (DPA), and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).

In processing personal information, sensitive personal information, and privileged information, the Company hereby adopts a policy to uphold the standards set forth under the DPA and its IRR, and to adhere the principles of transparency, legitimate purpose, and proportionality. In furtherance thereof, the Company shall adopt a Privacy Manual which shall guide the Company and its authorized personnel in processing personal information, sensitive personal information, and privileged information.

PRIVACY NOTICE

A. Your rights under the Data Privacy Act of 2012:
  1. Right to be Informed As a data subject, you have the right to be informed whether your personal data shall be, are being, or have been processed, including the existence of automated decision-making and profiling.   
  2. Right to Damages – As data subject, you have the right to be indemnified for any damages sustained due to inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, false, unlawfully obtained, or unauthorized use of your personal data, taking into account any violation of your right and freedoms as data subject.    
  3. Right to Access – As a data subject, you have the right to reasonably access, upon written request, information about any of the following:

i. Contents of personal information and categories of data that were processed;

ii. Sources from which personal data were obtained, if the data was not collected from the data subject;

iii. Purposes of processing;

iv. Manner by which such data were processed;

v. Information on automated processes where the processed data will or is likely to be made as the sole basis for any decision that significantly affects or will affect the data subject;

vi. Names and addresses of recipients of the personal information;

vii. Reasons for the disclosure of personal information to recipients;

viii. Date when his or her personal data were last accessed and modified;

ix. Period for which particular categories of information will be stored; and

x. The designation, name or identity, and address of the Personal Information Controller’s data protection officer.

4. Right to Object As a data subject, you shall have the right to object to the processing of your personal data where such processing is based on consent or legitimate interest.

5. Right to Rectify – As a data subject, you have the right to dispute the inaccuracy or error in your personal data and have the Personal Information Controller correct the same within a reasonable period of time.

6. Right to Erasure of Blocking – As the data subject, you have the right to request for the suspension, withdrawal, blocking, removal, or destruction of your personal data from the Personal Information Controller’s filing system, in both live and backup systems.

7. Right to Data Portability – As a data subject, you have the right to obtain from the Personal Information Controller a copy of your personal data and/or have the same transmitted from one Personal Information Controller to another, in an electronic or structured format that is commonly used.

8. Right to file a Complaint – If you feel that your personal information has been misused, maliciously disclosed, or improperly disposed, or that any of your data privacy rights have been violated, you have a right to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.

The Company collects the personal of clients or customers, partners, affiliates, stockholders, officers, employees or potential employees, regardless of type of employment, consultants, and talents, including, but not limited to their:

i. Full name

ii. Address

iii. Email Address

iv. Contact Number

v. Government details*

C. Method of collecting, and use of personal data

The Company, through its authorized personnel collects personal data through:

i. Verbal interviews, which may either be personal or through video conferencing; ii. Accomplished forms and/or contracts, which may either be through paper documents or electronic means.   

Personal data collected shall only be used for:

i. Hiring and/or talent acquisition ii. Client inquiry response iii. Statistical analysis and reporting iv. Compliance with legal requirements v. Documentation purposes
