Binigyan ng Senate Impeachment Court nitong hapon ng Huwebes, September 17, ang dalawang miyembro ng House Prosecution Panel para sagutin ang mga show-cause order, kaugnay ng posibleng paglabag sa sub judice rule.
Ayon kay Impeachment Court Spokesperson Atty. Reginald Tongol, isang public prosecutor at isang private prosecutor ang sinita dahil sa tatlong pahayag nitong Setyembre, na posibleng tumalakay sa merit ng impeachment case ni Vice President Sara Duterte.
Na-flag ng monitoring team ng Impeachment Court ang mga pahayag at isinumite kay Presiding Officer Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero para sa paunang pagsusuri.
Ayon kay Tongol, maglalabas si Escudero ng oral ruling sa impeachment proceedings sa susunod na linggo kung may paglabag nga at kung dapat ma-contempt ang mga prosecutor.
“The presiding officer will have a oral ruling during the impeachment proceedings next week regarding the matter whether or not they will find them in contempt or the impeachment court will find them not in contempt,” ani Tongol.
Samantala, kinumpirma ng House Prosecution Panel nitong Huwebes na nakatanggap ng show-cause orders ang dalawa nitong miyembro dahil sa posibleng paglabag sa sub judice rule ng Senate Impeachment Court.

Ayon kay House Prosecution Spokesperson Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong, isa sa mga pinasasagot si House Prosecutor at Bicol Saro Party-list Rep. Terry Ridon.
Gayunpaman, hindi pa nila nakikita nang buo ang nilalaman ng show-cause orders at hindi pa napag-uusapan ang susunod na hakbang ng prosecution panel.
Matatandaang sa ilalim ng sub judice rule, nililimitahan ang prosecution, depensa, mga testigo, respondent at mga senator-judge sa pagkomento sa publiko tungkol sa merit ng nakabinbing impeachment case.
