Nagkasundo ang Pilipinas at Estados Unidos sa pagpapatupad ng mahigit 500 joint military activities para sa 2026 sa ginanap na Mutual Defense Board-Security Engagement Board (MDB-SEB) sa Camp Smith, Hawaii noong Agosto 7 at 8.

Pinangunahan ito ni Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief Gen. Romeo Brawner at US Indo-Pacific Command Commander Adm. Samuel Paparo.

Kabilang sa mga napagkasunduan ang pagpapatuloy ng malalaking military exercises gaya ng “Balikatan.”
